The vine cutting was given to my greatgrandmother Anna Lehnhart in the early 1950ies, by Pankratz Müller who lives across the road of my family home in Höfen. It’s been going very strong ever since, and my father has multiplied it many times over, most impressively growing up the full length at the front of the house.
Two cuttings travelled to our home in Hackney and in their third year, growing on what is pretty much fairly poor Victorian rubble, they completely cover of our veranda. And carry the same very tasty grapes.
Thanks to Pankratz!
